Skype Interview Tips for Best Results
1. Make sure you have the latest release of Skype (Download Here) ***Very Important
2. Restart your computer before the call & and shut down any unnecessary processes
3. In Skype go to Help -> Call Quality Guide and run through checklist if you are having low quality video or audio
Video & Audio Tips
1. Video Quality – A good webcam is ideal
2. Lighting – Try to have plenty of light without harsh shadows
3. Audio – A good webcam mic or ever a separate usb mic is ideal. Also, try to be in a quite area (War zones, shopping mall food courts, etc. are not ideal)
4. Background – A non cluttered, non distracting background is best.
5. Shot Composition – Shot should be composed well & each persons shot composition should match as much as possible.
6. Make sure both parties wear headphones (ear buds). Otherwise, there will be “echo” audio issues from delay.
